We're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Pact Group's Mt Wellington Viscount facility. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining and improving process and automation projects to increase productivity and profitability.

About the Position:

You'll be responsible for ensuring all current electrical work and equipment complies with current regulations, diagnosing and resolving breakdowns to electrical reticulation and equipment, and developing and improving existing automation and equipment. You'll also work closely with management staff to develop, plan, and cost automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all current electrical work and equipment complies with current New Zealand Electricity (Safety) Regulations and AS/NZS 3000.Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to electrical reticulation and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner.Develop and improve existing automation and equipment.Develop maintenance and upgrade plans for key equipment with the Maintenance Engineering Manager.Work with management staff to develop, plan, and cost automation projects as required.Project manage (with Maintenance Engineering Manager) the implementation of successful projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A full electrical registration and a current A-grade electrical license.A manufacturing background in automation and PLC-based control systems.Demonstrated experience in predictive maintenance solutions and continuous improvement.
