Job Summary
AFFCO Horotiu seeks a skilled Service Engineer to join their Plant located near Hamilton. As a key team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation of all refrigeration and cooling appliances and related devices based on site.
Your duties include:
- Maintaining boiler performance, routine freezer defrosting, and water treatment testing;
- Ensuring all fittings, electrical components, and seals meet business requirements and function optimally;
- Timely management of equipment breakdowns and repairs;
- Regular system testing, adjustment, and balancing for maximum efficiency;
- Adhering to and promoting Health & Safety protocols for personal and team safety.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience in Service Engineering, including:
- Significant experience in managing a large-scale cool store;
- Exceptional problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with servicing complex manufacturing facilities;
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities;
- Teamwork and communication skills;
- Commitment to Health & Safety standards;
- Flexibility to work varying shifts.
