About the roleOur Support Workers assist Rangatahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community.
Responsibilities include aiding with personal care, community outings, integration, and other aspects of daily living - enabling our clients to be as independent as possible.
Requirements- A desire to support our Rangatahi and Tamariki to learn new skills and achieve outcomes
- Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities
- Ideally, experience working with children or youth
- Full driver's licence and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided)
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends
The right to work in NZ and willingness to undergo Police Vetting and additional Vulnerable Children Safety checking are essential to be considered for this position.
