About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute their expertise in machine learning development to our Lumi Drug Scan service.
This is a full-time permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning workflows and models for the Lumi Drug Scan service
- Collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts to prototype new solutions that improve ESR's impact for stakeholders and customers
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated machine learning (ML) workflows, including data analysis, feature engineering and selection, ML model development, validation, calibration, and testing
- Work closely with the development team to integrate ML models into existing systems and applications
- Identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to existing processes and tools
What You'll Need
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- Significant experience in machine learning development, preferably in an early-stage industry
- Expertise in developing automated machine learning (ML) workflows, including data analysis, feature engineering and selection, ML model development, validation, calibration, and testing
- Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python, R or Bash
- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
