About the Role

We are seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Policy Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the New Zealand infrastructure landscape, leading the development and implementation of the government's suite of policies related to Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and providing high-quality analysis and advice on significant infrastructure investments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the New Zealand infrastructure landscape.
  • Leading the development and implementation of the government's policies related to PPPs.
  • Providing expert analysis and advice on major infrastructure investments to ministers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that agencies and key stakeholders have easy access to and understanding of the government's PPP policies and frameworks.
  • Maintaining excellent collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

About You

You will have a successful record of advising on significant market transactions, coupled with a background in commercial or advisory roles across either the public or private sector. Your expertise should include specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in relevant infrastructure sectors, such as transport, energy, or social infrastructure, with direct experience in Public-Private Partnerships highly advantageous.
