The Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Architect - Insights Specialist to lead our reporting and analytics workstream. As the owner of this critical function, you'll report directly to the Enterprise Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining Data Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive data roadmap that aligns with our business requirements.
  • Architectural Decisions: Make informed architectural decisions based on up-to-date knowledge of trends and technologies.
  • Solution Recommendations: Recommend best-fit solutions to meet our business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to guide and influence decisions regarding data architecture, reporting strategies, and tool selection.
  • Delivery of Outcomes: Ensure timely delivery of outcomes aligned with the data and reporting roadmap.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in reporting and analytics system design and implementation.
  • Finance Report Delivery: Experience related to finance report delivery, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and management reporting.
  • Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
  • Project Management: Understanding and experience of applying project management concepts and methodologies in a technology environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
