Job Overview
The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day tasks assigned by the Chief Engineer are completed to a high standard, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with and maintain an understanding of the Textron Aviation manuals suite and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Hold safety as a core value and contribute to a zero-harm environment through active participation in safety programs.
- Report all safety-related matters and make recommendations to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel.
- Complete certification paperwork accurately and within deadlines.
- Issue Maintenance Releases according to release instructions.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate written reports.
- Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on aircraft models.
- Certify for maintenance activities within delegated authority.
- Observe and comply with standards and procedures contained within regulations and individual aircraft systems.
