Court Security Officer Role

As a Court Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our justice system. Our team is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for people to access the law.
We take pride in serving our community by interacting with diverse groups of people every day. You will work closely with other agencies such as Police and Corrections to ensure smooth court operations.
You will be responsible for welcoming and engaging with people who enter our courts, assessing potential health, safety, and security risks, and mitigating and responding to incidents as they occur.
This is a 40-hour-a-week role with some paid overtime available when extra cover is required. You may also be required to work a minimum 4-hour shift on Saturdays.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- a high level of customer service experience
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- confidence in using technology
- a positive mindset and a can-do attitude
- a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and a clean criminal record.
