Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a new team member to join our busy Despatch Team as a Stock Controller. The role covers both office work and outside duties to conduct regular stock takes and provide training to improve stock accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- To manage the inventory of materials and supplies.
- To coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
- To maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements.
- To train and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.
- NCEA Level 2 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- At least two years' experience in stock control functions.
- The ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Confident MS Office suite computer skills especially in Excel.
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
