Scientific & Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Chemical Manufacturing Specialist to bridge warehouse and production operations for a well-known manufacturer in South Auckland.

About the Role

This dynamic position involves working between the warehouse and production areas, utilizing equipment to pick materials, accurately measuring quantities as per production schedules, and completing all required documentation with precision and efficiency.

  • Achieve accurate measurement, dispensing, and recording of ingredients based on production requirements.
  • Operate basic machinery and perform manual handling to decant chemicals.
  • Ensure precise batch documentation and maintain accurate inventory records using MS Excel.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide updates on stock levels and timelines.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accurate measurement, dispensing, and recording of ingredients.
  • Operating basic machinery and performing manual handling tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and batch documentation.
  • Effective communication with internal teams.

We are looking for someone with strong numeracy and literacy skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform manual handling tasks of up to 25kg. If you have previous experience in manufacturing, ideally with blending and batching responsibilities, we would like to hear from you.
