As a Rehabilitation Assistant with Evolution Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to regain independence and re-learn daily activities. Reporting to the Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for carrying out client rehabilitation plans, empowering them to complete daily tasks, and providing direct assistance or prompting as required.
You will report on client progress and support them to participate in various activities, assisting with personal care and helping them progress along their rehab journey towards goals and independence after traumatic brain injury or stroke.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an extremely rewarding rehab setting, providing comprehensive training and contributing to the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the residential facility.
We welcome applications from individuals with a polite and friendly manner, a focus on providing a positive experience for our clients, and relevant skills and experiences including ideally holding a NZQA qualification or studying toward a certificate in Health & Wellbeing, good command of the English language, and a clean and current full driver's license.
