We're looking for a skilled and experienced Logistics Seafood Delivery Expert to join our team at New Zealand Fish Market Limited. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for delivering fresh seafood to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure timely delivery of seafood to customers across various locations.
  2. Work with varying start times and shifts to accommodate airport pickups and customer requirements.
  3. Safely operate vehicles to transport seafood over 5-6 days per week.
  4. Collect seafood from the airport, ensuring all products are handled correctly.
  5. Manage any required paperwork for pickups and deliveries.
  6. Monitor and record temperatures during airport pickups to ensure seafood is transported at the correct temperature.
  7. Handle products with care to maintain freshness and quality.
  8. Weigh seafood if required to ensure it meets delivery specifications and customer orders.
  9. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Forklift License: Essential for loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Driving Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Class 2 Licence: This is an advantage, but not required.
  • Physical Fitness: You will be handling seafood and operating a forklift, so physical strength and stamina are important.
  • Attention to Detail: Diligence with temperature checks, weighing seafood, and ensuring the quality of all deliveries is crucial.
  • Reliability & Flexibility: Early starts, late finishes, and split shifts are expected; flexibility to work varying hours across 5-6 days per week is essential.
