About the Position
This Logistics Planner role is based in our Hamilton office and forms part of our dispatch team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the safe and efficient delivery of LPG orders to our customers.
Your duties will include:
- Working closely with depot teams to manage resource availability and prioritizing urgent orders
- Optimizing delivery routes and maintaining data integrity to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Providing technical support to drivers and escalating any issues promptly
- Implementing proactive strategies to address seasonal planning challenges and minimize disruptions
Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics function
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with logistics planning software and tools in a real-world setting
