In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be working with a range of disciplines of Cardiac Ultrasound. The Cardiology Department provides outpatient and inpatient non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular investigation and treatment for various conditions such as coronary syndromes, valvular disorders, and heart failure.
The Cardiac Investigation unit based at Middlemore Hospital & Manukau Surgery Centre offers TTE (adult and paediatric), TOE's / DSE / ESE / contrast and bubble studies.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound examinations, interpreting images, and providing expert advice to medical staff. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team. You will need to have a university degree with a Cardiac ultrasound graduate/postgraduate qualification and current registration and practising certificate. A minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience is also required.
