Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Certified Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform. Your expertise in ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, and security will enable us to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.
  • Optimise query performance and storage utilisation to enhance system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Snowflake Certification (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer) is mandatory.
  • Strong experience in SQL and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
