About the Position

  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a clinical psychologist to join our team in a community-based mental health setting.
  • You will be working with children, adolescents, and their families to provide specialist assessments and treatments.
  • Developing treatment programs, training clinicians, and facilitating Whanau meetings are all key aspects of this role.
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing triage to clients in crisis are also important responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • At least three to five years of post-license training and experience in child and adolescent mental health settings.
  • Knowledge of child psychology and development is essential.
  • Able and willing to manage your own caseload and provide a range of assessments.
  • Experience with therapies such as CBT, DBT, and others is required.
