About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the adidas team as a Brand Communications Specialist in New Zealand. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a range of marketing activities, including Brand Communications, PR, events, social, partner activation, and retail (DTC).

As a key member of the Brand Communications team, you will be responsible for developing the local PR strategy, managing the local PR agency, and working cross-functionally with the team to manage and execute key campaigns and category moments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Local PR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive local PR strategy that aligns with the adidas brand objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Communications team to execute key campaigns and category moments in New Zealand.
  • Partner Activation: Support partner activation and publishing for owned and partner social channels.
  • Paid Media Activation: Support paid media activation in New Zealand, including asset development and execution.
  • Retail Activation: Support retail (DTC) activation objectives, including events and store launch plans.
  • MAEX Budget Management: Manage MAEX budget efficiently, following internal protocol.
  • Brand Guidelines: Ensure brand guidelines are upheld across all executions of the brand activation.
