The Role

We have vacancies in our Casual Pool for Mental Health Support Workers who will work mainly in inpatient units and community settings. As part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, you will cover the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua, and Hutt Valley areas.

About You

  • You must have a Level 4 National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Support Work (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working within mental health, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • A current work visa or the legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Able to work with a team using a multi-disciplinary approach
  • A full and clean driver's license
  • Consent to a Police Vetting Check under the Vulnerable Children's Act 2014
