About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity to join Oceanix Yacht Care as a skilled boat detailing specialist. As a member of our marine polishing crew, you will be responsible for providing premium standards of interior and exterior detailing to our clients' yachts and powerboats.

Using the highest quality products and equipment, you will work on various tasks such as wash-downs, detailing, gel coat oxidization removal, cutting, polishing, and wax application. You will also be involved in repair and restoration of teak decks and stainless steel, engine room and interior cabin cleaning, Strada glass and window water spot removal and treatments, and vinyl and carpet steam cleaning.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a passion for perfection and a good eye for detail. You should have a background in marine or superyacht industry, with experience in polishing, washing, and detailing. You should also be physically strong and able to handle tools and machinery in a demanding job.

As a casual worker, you will be required to work flexible hours between Monday to Friday, when weather permitting. You should be an NZ Citizen/Resident or have a current Work Visa, and have a car license as you may be required to drive the van. You should also live in the Tauranga region and have reliable transport to get to work locally.
