**Job Summary**

This role involves operating a large truck in our underground mine, transporting material from one location to another under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a career in mining and enjoy a 50/50 roster, 7 days on / 7 days off alternating between day and night shift (12-hour shifts).

**Key Responsibilities**

• Pre-start and shut down checks on all equipment

• Load and transport material

• Work as a member of a larger team

• Communicate with a wide variety of people

• Maintain housekeeping of vehicles and loading area

**Qualifications and Skills**

A full, clean, current driver's license and confidence driving a manual vehicle are essential. The ability to communicate well within a team environment, high interest in heavy machinery, and a safety-conscious attitude are also required.
