At Tangram, we are seeking a highly skilled Extrusion Production Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plastic extrusion machines to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Setup and Operation: Configure and operate plastic extrusion machines in line with production schedules, ensuring the correct materials, tooling, and dies are used for each production run.
  2. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product accuracy and surface finish, identifying and resolving machine issues to maintain product quality.
  3. Maintenance and Safety: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines, assisting in repairs and collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  4. Material Handling: Handle raw materials, ensuring proper storage and preventing contamination, maintaining material levels for continuous production.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to optimize production efficiency, providing feedback to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance equipment performance.
  6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production logs and documentation of machine settings, materials, and production output.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, a strong understanding of machine operation and manufacturing processes, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
