About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Waitakere Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nursing professional to make a positive impact on the lives of tamariki and whanau from our community.

Our Services

Rangatira Ward is an acute general medical paediatric ward that provides care for children with a range of short and long-term illnesses and disabilities. Our team works closely with other healthcare services, including the Children's Community Nurse Specialist team, Paediatric Outpatient services, Primary and Public health providers, and Emergency Care Centres.

About Our Team

We are a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Our team includes nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff who work together to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to children aged 0-15 years with a range of short and long-term illnesses and disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 12 months of paediatric nursing experience and registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council. You must also hold a current annual practicing certificate.
