Job Description:
- The Chief People Officer will play a crucial role in developing and executing human resources strategies that align with the business goals and objectives.
- This includes overseeing key areas such as succession planning, talent management, organizational design, change management, learning and development, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement People and Culture strategies that support the company's mission and strategic vision.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on organizational and management issues.
- Lead management succession planning efforts in line with company strategy.
- Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet human capital needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the global People and Culture function, including talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
- Review and maintain the company's workplace health and safety system.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or Psychology.
- Extensive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and provide advice on complex HR issues.
- Applied understanding of contemporary HR legislation and policies, particularly in manufacturing.
- Effective written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing HR-related projects and working with international teams.
