As a Psychologist, you will join our Learning Support team, which provides critical support to families, whānau, caregivers, schools, and early childhood educators.

  • You will identify patterns or contributing factors that may be influencing learning, well-being, and behaviour.
  • You will enhance inclusive practices in early learning services, schools, and other educational settings.
  • You will provide professional support and guidance to schools, teachers, and families, building the capacity of those who are best placed to support the learning of children and young people.
  • You will provide appropriate in-depth specialist assessment and analysis for evidence-informed interventions.
  • You will work as part of a trans-disciplinary team where a child's needs are complex.

Your salary will be between $85,416-$121,466 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver. Your individual skills and experience will determine your exact salary.

To be successful, you must have a master's level tertiary qualification and a post-graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology or equivalent.

You should be able to translate specialist knowledge into practical information and coordinate service provision in a multi-agency, trans-disciplinary setting.
