As a Field Service Engineer with Amada New Zealand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of fabrication machines and associated equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include regular routine service, diagnosis and rectification of machine breakdowns, installation and integration of new machines, and provision of expert advice on machinery demonstration, operation, and safety aspects to clients. Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting tooling and maintenance contract sales, while maintaining exceptional customer relationships throughout the ownership of their machines.
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with expertise in analyzing and repairing complex systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope is essential, as is the ability to work with computers and Windows OS. Additionally, the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience working on CNC, Blanking, Press brake, and general fabrication machinery, are necessary requirements for this position.
