We are seeking a Retail Business Development Manager to join our APAC Retail team. This role will be responsible for managing inbound sales and working closely with merchants to build rapport, understand their objectives, and provide solutions that add value to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted Account Manager to customers who inquire about further Lightspeed offerings.
  • Build trust and rapport with customers through active listening.
  • Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms.
  • Demonstrate software solutions to customers.

In this role, you will also be responsible for reactive upsell from inbound sales and expansion of monthly recurring revenue. Additionally, you will contribute to building strong retailer advocacy and increasing retail owner empathy throughout the company.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience in an account management or sales development representative role carrying a sales quota. You should have a strong understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment and be able to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline.
