Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead our team. As CEO, you will be responsible for managing the effective operation of our site, ensuring that all business objectives and targets are met to maximise profits.

Key Responsibilities

Profitability: Ensure sustainable returns to shareholders and manage cash flow effectively.Team Management: Develop and implement department plans, motivate direct reports, and manage recruitment and performance.Production: Oversee production schedules, maintain high productivity levels, and ensure quality standards.Market Development: Analyse market information, set and achieve targets for market share growth, and prepare annual marketing budgets.Sales/Customer Service: Develop and implement sales strategies, maintain relationships with customers, and ensure timely deliveries.Purchasing: Negotiate pricing with suppliers and maintain a preferred supplier register.Financial Account Management: Prepare monthly sales reports, manage debtors and creditors, and produce annual budgets.Health & Safety: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards.Asset/Process Management: Manage company assets and processes efficiently.Stock Management: Oversee inventory and stock levels.Administration: Prepare board agendas, handle customer complaints, and oversee digital marketing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Affinity with the Primary industry with strong commercial acumen.Extensive team management / leadership experience and influencing abilities.Strategic thinking and problem-solving with high work standards and follow-up.Planning and organizing, attention to detail and resilience.Previous senior department management industry experience.A tertiary qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of people and cultures.
