Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality behavioral health services to patients, including individual and group sessions
  • Collaborate with the general practice team to develop and deliver interventions that meet the unique needs of our patients
  • Provide consultation, education, and advice to support members of the general practice team in meeting the mental health and wellbeing needs of their patients
  • Support the development of local population health initiatives by collaborating with GPs and nurses to identify and address health needs
  • Apply the Te Whare Tapa Whā model of care to ensure culturally sensitive and effective planning for health and wellbeing challenges
