KPMG, a leading global professional services firm, seeks an exceptional Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide industry insight and real perspective on whether client accounts are true and fair.

The Opportunity:
  • Our Audit team combines extensive knowledge of various businesses and sectors with a fresh approach, including an enhanced audit methodology that complies with International Auditing Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist more senior managers in the performance of audit assignments as an in-charge, handling complex technical issues such as statutory audits, internal audits, and investigation reports.
  • Plan, execute, and finalise all areas of the audit assignment for review, producing high-quality work that highlights issues and provides potential solutions.
  • Manage client deliverables, attend meetings, and undertake strategic analysis to identify business and audit risks.
  • Ensure effective use and application of KPMG's Audit Manual/Methodology, auditing standards, and GAAP principles.
Requirements:
  • A degree in relevant subjects such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics meeting CAANZ requirements.
  • A minimum two years of relevant practical audit experience in an Audit Firm, preferably with a professional body membership.
  • Technical proficiency across audit and audit-related services, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
