Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an Area Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our business by signing, training, and activating new agents and managing business development activities with existing agents in your territory. You will work closely with our sales team to develop strategies and implement plans to increase revenue and expand our customer base.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets through new agent acquisition and same-store sales growth
- Manage end-to-end sales process for independent agents, including selling the complete product portfolio
- Prospect, negotiate, and sign contracts with new agents
- Collect required documents and submit complete packages
- Drive activation process and train locations
- Foster relationships with high-performing locations and identify opportunities for growth
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in outside sales or servicing customer products
- Knowledge of the New Zealand market
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Ability to present and listen to your agents and build trust and confidence with them
- Fluency in English; other foreign language skills are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
