The Role

We are seeking a skilled Repair Centre Production Manager to oversee and optimize production operations within our East Tamaki facility. This role involves managing workflow, ensuring timely completion of repairs, adhering to quality standards, and implementing safety processes to guarantee team safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations, manage workflow, and ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise, training, and support to enhance operational outcomes and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Create an environment where individual and collective skills are valued, promoting teamwork and high performance.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service.
  • Effectively manage resources, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to improve financial outcomes.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve processes to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive collision repair industry compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong commitment to team safety, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to uphold quality standards of workmanship and customer service.
  • Suitable vehicle collision repair or automotive refinishing qualification (desirable).
  • Ability to understand financial reports and possess data analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of operational systems and process design experience.
