Auckland Transport seeks a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Manager to oversee the strategic planning, management, and operational oversight of our data centre facilities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex data centre environments.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data centre management or a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure operations. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of all systems and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and managing data centre capacity and costings
- Leading incident management processes
- Ensuring regular maintenance and updates of data centre infrastructure
- Implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures
The successful candidate will also collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize data centre operations.
