Sustainable Forest Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to take the lead in managing our 10,000 hectare estate. This role involves developing and implementing sustainable forest management strategies that prioritize biodiversity conservation, mitigate major risks, and reduce pest damage.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, including community groups and investors, to ensure tangata whenua and intergenerational input, as well as private and public investment in future forest management. They will also be responsible for managing budgets and resources efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
