About the Job

We're looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Rydges Wellington Airport. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Organizing Menus: Planning and organizing sweet and savory items for our daily changing menus and outlets.
  2. Resolving Problems: Identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems that may arise in the line of duty.
  3. Working with the Team: Collaborating with a passionate and dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  4. Managing Finances: Contributing to achieving financial targets set for expenditure, including labor costs and food costs.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Previous Experience: Essential prior experience in this position.
  • Pastry and Cafe Skills: Preferably experienced in pastry and cafe short order cooking.
  • Leadership Abilities: Capable of running a busy pastry section and mentoring junior staff.
