About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting patients to maintain function, independence, and quality of life while managing complex medical conditions. This involves providing specialist services to patients experiencing a range of medical conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients' functional abilities and developing strategies to enhance their independence
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care
  • Developing and implementing therapy plans to meet patients' needs
  • Providing education and support to patients and families on managing complex medical conditions

About the Team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient-centered approach to care
