About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our dynamic team at Health New Zealand - Lakes. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a range of routine and acute imaging services across abdominal, vascular, muscular-skeletal, and obstetric scanning.
Our ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in medical ultrasound and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have the ability to positively engage with patients and hospital staff, as well as the enthusiasm to learn and grow within our organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Medical Radiation Technologist's Board (MRTB) recognized Medical Ultrasound qualification and have postgraduate clinical experience. Registration with the New Zealand MRT Board is also essential, along with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
