We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our insurance risk governance framework, driving innovation and excellence in risk management across the group.

This pivotal role involves developing and reviewing frameworks and policies, ensuring robust control assurance and effective risk management. You'll build strong relationships with business divisions, providing expert advice and guidance to insurance risk managers and their teams.

As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to committee and board reporting meetings, fostering an insurance risk culture that aligns with IAG's values and strategic goals. You'll also play a vital role in shaping our resilience and forward-thinking approach to insurance risk governance.

Ambitious and driven individuals who can navigate complex insurance landscapes are encouraged to apply. This is a permanent full-time role open to our office in Auckland, New Zealand.

Beyond your technical expertise, we're looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to achieve shared objectives.

  • An estimated salary range of NZD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on experience
