Senior Anaesthesiologist

**About the Role**

We have a fixed term opportunity for a Senior Anaesthesiologist to join our team in the Greenlane Cardiothoracic and ORL Anaesthesia Department and the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Intensive Care (CVICU) at Auckland City Hospital.

This twelve-month fellowship program will provide extensive experience in all aspects of cardiothoracic anaesthesia and intensive care, including perioperative echocardiography.

You will develop a consultant approach to patient assessment and conduct cardiac anaesthesia and intensive care.

The diverse case mix includes ACHD, thoracic transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.

Auckland has the highest bypass case numbers of any centre in Australasia.
