Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Senior Power Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in New Zealand.

This is an exciting and varied role that can be based in one of our 15 offices in the country. You will work on both Electrical and multidisciplinary projects to support our Water, Building Services, and Energy group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of medium voltage design, electrical system protection and control, standby power options, and implementation.

  • Participate in technical review and quality control of design drawings and documents and ensure compliance with New Zealand & Australia electrical codes and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion of projects.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Electrical/Power Engineer with a background in power generation, protection, and/or distribution.
