Woodworking Instructor

We're seeking a highly motivated lecturer or suitably qualified professional to deliver our Level 3 Carpentry programme at our Manawatu Campus in Palmerston North. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, facilitating one-on-one learning, and working with a dynamic team to achieve excellent outcomes.

• Deliver high-quality lectures and practical assessments to students
• Mentor and motivate students to achieve their best
• Work collaboratively with the Academic Portfolio Manager to develop and implement delivery resources

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of National / NZ Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
• A current LBP (Licenced Building Practitioner)
• Ideally, 10 years of current industry experience
• A strong understanding of adult literacy and numeracy education principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
