About the Role:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Sealed Air, you will play a vital role in driving excellence in our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to lead quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective quality control systems to ensure zero-defect manufacturing
  • Lead quality improvement projects utilizing industry best practices to solve problems and improve overall quality performance
  • Foster a culture of excellence by coaching and being a role model for the behaviors required to achieve excellent performance
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in an engineering or science discipline
  • Proven experience in quality roles within the packaging/chemical industries, with strong knowledge of quality processes and standards
  • Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent (or willingness to achieve certification within 12 months)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Strong people management skills, supported by experience or a frontline management qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
