Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Engineering - Senior Project Manager (Detailed Design and Environmental Assessments) to join our team of experts in transportation engineering and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Manage multiple projects as a PM for Environmental Assessments and Detailed Design Projects.
- Ensure timely completion, within budget, and meet client expectations.
- Lead the Design Team consisting of Engineers, Scientists, Planners, Coordinators, Schedulers, and other consultants.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and open communication.
- Promote and oversee our safety program and overall safety culture.
- Conduct regular quality reviews, plan reviews, and inspections.
- Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.
- Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
Qualifications
- Experience
- 15 years of experience in Environmental Assessment Process and Approvals, Conceptual Design, Engineering, Technical Advisory Related Work, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional Designation PMP is an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong work ethic and ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree.
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma or university degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
