About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy team in New Zealand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive value creation and contribute to our purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a robust strategy that aligns with our purpose and aspiration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risks, interdependencies, costs, and benefits are well understood and actively managed.
  • Provide strategic support to senior leaders and stakeholders, including preparation for Board, Group, and Executive strategy and planning meetings.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the economy, insurance market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory environments, communicating implications for our business.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial acumen, reasoning, logic, modeling, and analysis.
  • Effective stakeholder communication and partnering ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and outcomes to deadlines.
  • Experience in business case creation, financial modeling, and strategy development and execution.
  • Tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Commerce, Finance, Law, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics).
