About the Role

The Adult Community Mental Health Service provides treatment for individuals aged 18-65 years who suffer from a wide range of mental disorders.

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Christchurch, providing assessment, formulation, and treatment interventions for outpatients.

Some inpatient work may also be required. As part of our Psychology team, you will have access to journal clubs and special interest groups to support your practice.

Te Whatu-Ora Waitaha offers free training in supervision and leadership, as well as opportunities to develop specialty areas of practice and teach or conduct research.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive assessment and support to clients and their families/whanau.
  • Participate actively in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with referrers and colleagues from other agencies.
  • Manage a busy caseload, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills.
