We are seeking an accomplished academic to join our team as a PhD Nursing Lecturer. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our Postgraduate Nursing Programme by teaching, supervising, and engaging in research.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering teaching plans and course materials for Master's level nursing students.
  • Fostering a culturally safe and supportive learning environment through your teaching practices.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
  • Contributing to the Faculty's research outputs through your research activities.
Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in nursing practice and current Registered Nurse status.
  • A PhD in Nursing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Mātauranga Māori and commitment to cultural safety.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Desirable: experience in curriculum development and tertiary teaching.
