A key role within our manufacturing plant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficently control and supervise the production requirements and resources through work centres to achieve planned targets on a day-to-day basis.
  • Control quality checking of products.
  • Recruit, train, motivate and develop staff to create a high-performance team.
  • Lead and motivate a team of workers through practical, fair and consistent application of HR fundamentals, e.g. sick leave management, time and attendance.
  • Participate in training sessions and improvement meetings.
  • Prepare reports for management with regard to productivity, reworks and overtime.

About You
The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and display the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office. Experience with SAP will be highly desirable.
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sound understanding of OH&S.
