Job Opportunity
We seek an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our tight-knit team. This role requires someone with hands-on maintenance experience to ensure timely resolution of mechanical breakdowns and undertake preventative maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will work closely with production teams to address equipment failures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment breakdowns
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Undertake preventative maintenance activities
- Report equipment issues in CMMS
- Liaise with the Engineering planner for spare parts management
Requirements
- Trade certification with relevant trade skills OR a NZQA-recognized Mechanical Engineering degree
- At least 3 years of plant and equipment maintenance experience
- Proficiency in CMMS software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
