Job Description

">

The Head Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving good quality food for students at Te Aute Boys College. This permanent full-time role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef and NZQA Level 4 Cookery or equivalent. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook meals for students in accordance with contractual requirements and health and safety regulations

">

* Develop menus to meet special dietary and cultural needs

">

* Ensure all tasks associated with food production are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

* At least 3 years' experience as a Chef

">

* NZQA Level 4 Cookery or equivalent

">

* Excellent understanding of hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment

">

* Excellent communication skills

">
