About This Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Specialist to join our Finance Operations team as Kaiarahi Hokohoko Purchasing Lead. This is a fixed-term parental leave cover starting from May 2025 through to June 2026, including a handover period.
">In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing across Z, including upskilling our people, enhancing systems, and supporting with Purchase Orders. You will work closely with purchasing users and our AP team to streamline and optimise the purchasing process.
">The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet business needs.">
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.">
- Ensuring compliance with Z's policies and procedures.">
- Providing training and support to new and existing staff.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, and experience in managing procurement operations.
