Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Amnesty International Full time
Join us in shaping a brighter future for human rights
Apart from being part of a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and communities affected by human rights violations. As a Philanthropy Manager at Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand, your main goal will be to inspire and nurture generous giving towards human rights impact. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Fundraising Director to develop and deliver programmes for major and mid-level individual and institutional donors, and co-ordinate stewardship and engagement activities to achieve donor growth targets.

About Us:
Our vision is a world where everyone enjoys their fundamental human rights. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we welcome applications from different backgrounds and circumstances. As a global movement, we mobilise the humanity in everyone so that we can all live with care and respect for each other.

Your Role:
As a Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for researching and recruiting new donors, and supporting the development of our bequest programme. You will also have the opportunity to meet and engage with passionate philanthropists and cultivate opportunities for them to partner with us. Leadership skills and high emotional intelligence are essential for this position, along with an in-depth knowledge of relationship-based fundraising and exceptional storytelling skills.

Benefits:
This full-time role offers commensurate remuneration and flexible working arrangements. While based in Auckland, there is potential for the successful applicant to be based elsewhere in Aotearoa. We offer a people-centred work environment that values work-life balance.
